NOTICE OF SALE OF OIL AND GAS
LEASE

Notice is herchy given that in pursu-
ance of an order of the County Court of
Tulsa County State of Oklahoma entered
on the 7th day of January 1924 in the
matter of the guardianship of Geraldine
Hughey a minor the undersigned as
guardian of the estate of said minor will
sell at public sale for cash to the highest
and best responsible bidder subject to the
confirmation of said County Court on the
12th day of January 1924 at 10 o'clock
a m in open court in the court room of
the County Court at Tulsa Oklahoma a
lease for Oil and gas mining purposes
upon the following described real prop-
'erty and premises situate in Tulsa Coun-
ty State of Oklahoma to-wit:
An undivided one-half interest in the
North Half (N 1-2) of the Northwest
Quarter (NW 1-4) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE 1-4) and the Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 7
Township 20 North Range 13 East
for a term during the minority of said
minor and as long thereafter as oil or
gas shall be produced in paying quanti-
ties bearing a royalty of one-eighth of
the proceeds of all oil and Fifty Dollars
per year for each utilized gas well

owners sought to prevent the issu-

intention of the city commission to
issue these bonds in order to pay off
the pending overdraft Property own-

time the city's finances continue in
a demoralized state It was impos-

Shop Cost
New York Jan 9—"Forty per-
cent has to be added to the shop cost
of the motor car to put it into the
hands of the consumer Charles M
Schwab declared Tuesday night be-
fore the National Automobile cham-
ber of commerce discussing the
zconomic value and the future of
motor vehicles
While pointing out that the auto-
mobile gives exceptional value for its
cost Schwab asserted that distribu-
tion and overhead costs should be
cut down by consolidation whenever
legally possible

Oklahoma City Jan 9—Four
tracts of state school land compris-
ing 438 acres of the original four
quarters of section 13-20-9 Pawnee
county are to be offered for oil and
gas lease February 5 by commission-
ers of the land office

mately 35 aliens will be deported
from here today according to immi-
