Election Board Secretary Wayne
Mills reminds county voters that
following the county-wide re-registration
about two years ago any
cards not immediatcly picked up
by registrants were held for the
required length of time—through
three elections—and then in com-
pliance with the law—destroyed
by burning all those remaining in
the election books
As a result the more than 3-
000 persons whose names they bore
now should go to the election hoard
office and register and receive
their cards prior to close of the
registration period which ends
June 25
Another change in registration
laws of the state discontinues use
el precinct registrars and replaces
them wifh deplity registrars
As it now stands Mills said reg-
istration may he made by going to
theeloution board office first flour
