The Senate Tuesdzy approved stii-
ary rais2s for several state offi-
cials including a $10000 boost ft)r
the govetnor The bill passed by
a 25-11 vote will not effect any
of the present oMcials during thew
current term of office
The bill increases the governor
salary from 115 000 to $25000 a
year and the lieutenant gover-
nor's pay from $5000 to $7200 a

v'as recovered Tuesday afternoon
from Kiamichi river wnere he ap-
parently died from accidental

Itranton's body was piffled from
the water approximately 100 yards

found the body about 1:30 pm

It will be possible under the liquor
control act for a person to make
up to 200 gallons of wine or cider
in his ovi'n home
