here might just as well go ahead
and invest in fishing tackle for
daughter Peggy Having tested the
pull of a fighting three-pound cat-
fish which she caught in a farm
tank the pretty young brunette will
be a fisherwoman for life
LOT OF SNAKES as well as
squirrels are reported in the woods
so with the bushytail season open-
ing today you hunters better go in
prepared for both squirrels and
snakes
CHASING SPEEDERS is the work
of Charlie Cates but he recently
snuck in an arrest of nine nice cat-

Mighty tasty according to reports
BEYOND ENDURANCE was the
recent spell of no-fishing weather
so one rainy morning the little
lady and Uncle Mac took off for
one of the Lake Texoma barges
We decided on Hefner's and were
greeted like a long lost son and
daughter Hell told us where to
fish how deep what size and sex
minnows to use etc These folks
really know their fishing and our
take for the two days was a whop-
ping 350 pounds If you don't know
much about fishing Kenneth Hef-
ner always is there to help you
And his wife Evelyn will fix any
kind of sandwich you desire
MANY A FISH STORY we heard
at Heftier's And Kenneth always
can come up with one just a little
bigger than anyone else Never
thought we would sit in an easy
chair watching television and
catching fish but we enjoyed every
minute of it By the way if you
don't catch any fish Hefner's will
give you a big mess of crappie No
hands leave there empty
