Foot Ball Team Defeated
The High School foot ball team
went to Lawton last Saturday to
play the return game- with the
jawton High School team The
previous week had been muddy
and the boys had not had the
amount of practice necessary
and when it is considered that
two new boys had been put on
the team since the last game
with Lawton who did not know
the signals it is no surprise that
the boys were a little “rattled”
on the start and did not get set-
tled down to playing for the first
15 minutes and the Lawton boys
had made two touch downs scor
ing 12 points After this neither
side was able to score showing
that the two teams were equally
matched The boys here have a
good team and will win some
good games this season all they
need is a little practice
but when able to resume his
work will return to Walters No
man lias ever come into our
midst and built up a better repu-
tation as a tnan and as a physi-
cian than Dr Baker We regret
very much to lose him and fami-
ly though it only be temporarily
