The Choctaw Men's Commun-
ity club held thtir regular meet-
ing Thursday night Nov 7 at
which time new plans ((Jr com-
munity projects were discussed
Location and the possibility of
starting a community building
was discussed and it was decided
to hold a contest for deciding the
building location as well as plot-
ting other park facilities such
as barbecue pits tables soft-
ball diamond swings etc This
contest will be open to all the
students of Choctaw school Four
prizes will be awarded for the
lbest plans of the park layout
Judging of the entries will be
based On layout in regard to
park terrain and available area
Due to limited park funds fail-
ities shown should be those us-
ually found in the average park
Ultra-modern plans should not
be submitted however a pro-
posed future swimming pool may
be included Economy sound ideas
of improvements are encouraged
and any practical suggestions
submitted shall be given consid-
eration and recognition Addition-
al information may be obtained

urges all members and non-
members to attend the meetings

pressed including youth recre-
ation and Christmas projects

school cafeteria throughout the

in the school auditorium for a

sion of the Harrah P-TA was
also held

ceived by teachers and school
officials on the nice work being
done The school is always hap-
py to have parents visit and they

SEA SON OPENS
The Harrah basketball season
was opened by the "A" and "B"
girls playing Chandler on Tues-
day November 12 and winning
both games On Tuesday Novem-
ber 19 the "A" and "B" girls
played at Jones both teams los-
ing to Jones A girl's basketball
festival will be held at the Har-
rah gymnasium on Thursday
November 21 beginning at 1:30
between Harrah and Maud At
2 : 3 5 Chandler will be playing
Purcell girls In the evening ses-
sion at 7:00 Chandler and Maud
will play and at 8:15 Harrah
and Purcell Tht - e teams all had
outstanding records last year
and all should have good teams
this year
The boys will open their bas-
ketball season on Tuesday No-
vember 213 at Dale in which both
boys and girls will participate
POLIO VACCINE
TO BE CIVEN
On Monday November 25 at
9:00 am Harrah junior and sen-
ior high students may get their
third polio vaccine No new ser-
ies will be started and no other
school age or pre-school children
