Bus No 5 (This route includes
areas east and north of town
around Welch Cole and Bryan
Chapel) will be assigned to Wash-
ington and Central on the same
basis that they were assigned last
year All new elementary studentS
riding this bus and all beginning'
students who do not have older
brothers or sisters at Central
should enroll at the Washington
grade school
Since the State Department of
Education does not provide for
transportation within the city
limits and due to the over crowd-
ing of the buses no students liv-
ing within the city limits will be
transported to school
All the elementary grade school
boundaries will be the same as
last year After enrollment is com-
pleted it may be necessary to
shift some students in order to
balance as nearly as possible the
teaching assignments at the dif-
ferent schools In general' bus
students 1A111 probably be shifted
since they are delivered by bus to
the school that they attend
