COURT HOUSF—
Petitions will soon be circulated
requesting the county commissioners
to call an election on the erection of
a new county court house
There is no doubt that Oklahoma
county needs a new home atlequate to
house its courts and all county off-
ices under one roof and in a building
that is not a death trap
The question is: shall we as tax-
payers build this building now and
take advantage of the 30 percent
donation which will be made on the
structure by the Federal Government
and of the current low prices on mat-
erial and labor costs or will we wait
and build it several years hence pay-
ing full price for everything involved
and losing the Federal grant of 30
percent letting it be spent elsewhere
Of course this question will be de-
cided by ballot as it rightfully should
be But in deciding you should use the
same good judgement you would in
your own personal affairs whether
