Faxon, who died Wednesday in a hospi-
tal here after a short illness, will be at 2
p.m. Friday in Faxon Baptist Church.
The Rev. Elmer Price and the Rev.
Ken Howe will officiate. Burial will be
in Faxon Cemetery under direction of
Lawton Ritter-Dalton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carson was born Dec. 30, 1908,
in White Sands, N.M. She was married
to Oran H. Carson July 20, 1927, in A

death of former Lawton resident Aileen
Vanta Ferguson, 63, of West Tawakom,
Texas. Daughter of the late pioneer
Lawtonian Lena Vanta, she died Tues-
day in a Dallas hospital following a
short illness. Funeral will beat 10 a.m.
Friday in Lybrand Funeral Home,
Point, Texas.
Mrs. Ferguson was born Sept. 20,
1917, in Lawton.
Survivors include her husband, E.S.
Ferguson, of the home; two sons: Jim
Bryce. Houston, and Frank Bryce,
Cache; a daughter, Judith Lambert,
West Tawakoni; and 10 grandchildren.

Word has been recieved here of the
death Friday of former resident Cecil
M. Goodin, 61, Mannsville. Funeral
was at 2 p.m. Monday in Full Gospel
Holiness Mission, Mannsville. Burial
was in Hillcrest Memorial Park Ceme-
tery, Ardmore.
Mr. Goodin was born Jan. 28, 1918, in
Elgin. He was married to Boncilla
Prestage in 1938. Following her death,
he was married to Clara Mae
Vanderburg. He moved from Lawton to
Ardmore in 1964. and to Mannsville in
1974
Survivors include his wife, of the
home; five sons: Dean, Coolidge, Tex-
