A $75,000 lawsuit has been filed in
district court against the city of Lawton
claiming improper engineering has
caused flood damage to a city man's
east Lawton property.

APACHE (Staff) — The first annual

here Saturday and Sunday under spon-
sorship of the Apache Chamber of Com-
merce
Performances are scheduled at 8
pm Saturday and 2 pm Sunday at
the Apache rodeo arena

Marlow woman was sentenced to 40
years in prison Tuesday in district
court after she pleaded guilty to first
degree manslaughter in the shooting
death of her husband
She had been charged with first
degree murder but after a hearing
Tuesday in which phychiatric evidence
was presented that she had been in no
mental state to plan the slaying the
plea of first degree manslaughter was
