fashioned with a Queen

of the gown. The skirt
terminated in a long train
accented by gathered
princess lace. The bride’s
hat was a lace-covered
derby decorated with
whit? rosebuds and lilies

lives revolve around hor-
ses were married on hor-
seback March 6 at the P-
Bar-Kid Ranch in Blan-
chard.
The bride is Tonia Kel-
ley. daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Garvin Chandler of
Wynnewood, who was
married to Dean Gunter,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Will
Gunter of Blanchard. The
bridegroom works at the
P-Bar-Kid and the bride is

met March 12 in the
community room of the
First National Bank with
Mrs. Aline Oliver and
Mrs. Alma Boyce as ho-
stesses.
Mrs. L.B. Norwood,
president, presided. Irene
Hudson led the singing
and Mrs. Boyce, the devo-
tional. Mrs. Hudson read
the minutes of the pre-
vious meeting and the
treasurer’s report.
The next meeting will
be April 9 at the home of
Mrs. A.E. Davis. The
March 26 meeting was
canceled because several
members will be attend-
ing a district meeting.
Hostesses served re-
freshments to members
Mrs. Hudson, Mrs. Nor-
wood, Ann Huffine, Ava
Jackson, Millie Gilbert,
Rosalee Little, Ludie
Scrugg, Janie Kay and
Mollie Hudson. Guests

groom graduated from
Caddo Mills High School :
in Caddo Mills. Texas,
and attended East Central
University. He is employ-
ed as a lab technician in
the mechanical research
department at Halliburton
Services.
Miss Penni Anne Dixon
became the bride of Ed-
ward Glenn McBroom at 7
p.m. Feb. 12 in the First
Baptist Church of Wynne-
wood. The Rev. Paul Coff-
man officiated at the
double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daugh-
ter of Floyd and Shirley
Dixon of Wynnewood and
the bridegroom is the son
of Faye McBroom and the
late Aaron McBroom of
Wynnewood.
Traditional wedding
music was played by or-
ganist Carol Cash of Wyn-
newood. "You Light Up
My Life" was played
while candles were lit by
the bride’s brothers, Ste-
phen and Floyd II.
The theme from “Love
Story” was played as
mothers of the couple
were escorted to their
seats.
The altar was flanked
by arrangements of bur-
gundy and pink chrysan-
themums and four candel-
abra decorated with pink
candles and greenery. A
pire waistline accented
with a burgundy ribbon.
Patti carried a white bask-
et of pink roses, white
rosebuds and burgundy
verbena.
Jeffery Dixon, Wynne-
wood. also a cousin of the
bride, was ringbearer. He
wore a blue suit with a
white carnation bouton-
niere and carried a white,
heart-shaped satin pillow
with burgundy and pink
ribbons holding the rings.
Debbie Smith, sister of
the bride, kept the guest
book. She wore a white
dress with pink flowers
and a corsage of white
roses.
Janie Riggs. Carol Oz-
ment and Susan Gilley
served at the reception
table. It was decorated
with an arrangement of
burgundy carnations and
pink roses, three-tiered
pink candles and burgun-
dy and pink ribbon.
The wedding cake was
topped with a miniature
bride and bridegroom and

Both Mr. and Mrs.
McBroom arc seniors at
Wynnev ood High School.
They are living in Wynne-
wood.
