I would like to respond to your
recent column in the Statesman
titled "Abortion: Unless you have
two X chromosomes, you don’t
make the decision.”

from a religious standpoint, only
what I know in my heart is right.
I see nothing wrong to free

Student safety first
With all the violence at schools all over the nation and even in
our own state every student should be aware for their own safety—
aware of surroundings, people, and safety’ features.
Campus life is a whole new world for most of us. laving on cam-
pus is great. We meet new friends, and enjoy life away from home
and relax with our “new family unit.” Then we get careless and leave
our valuables unattended and our rooms unlocked. Suddenly luck
runs out and we become a victim of a crime. Most on campus crime
is by students. Students move in and think everybody is their friend;
but you are really living with a bunch of strangers.
The best line of campus safety is each of us. Be careful, aware,
alert and prepared._____________________________
