I cannot fake blindness when I see will continue to do until we are all free
how unfairly my people are being at last.

Again RSC is supporting the American
Cancer Society’s annual fundraiser, Daffo-
dil Days. The American Cancer Society has
been fighting more than 100 types of can-
cer for almost 90 years.
Donations do make a remarkable differ-
ence in critical cancer research, education,
and services to cancer patients and their
families in communities.
Why daffodils? According to Lisa Price,
Director of Community Relations and Spe-
cial Events, “The daffodil is the first flower
of spring, the flower of hope. Hope is the
key in fighting cancer and surviving, and
spring is a time of renewal.”
The daffodils are $6 for a bunch of 10
stems. Once the stems are trimmed and
placed in water, they should bloom into
beautiful yellow daffodils.
The deadline to order is Friday, Feb. 22.
Payment is due at the time you order. Pay-
ment is accepted by either cash or check.
Please make all checks payable to the
American Cancer Society. The daffodils
will be available for pick up or campus
delivery Mar. 7-8.
To place an order, contact the Special
Events Office at 736-0313, or come by the
office in the Communication Center, Room
104. located in the lobby.
