In other senate news, Pryor
reported the Constitutional
Revision and Resolution
Committee is working on
Terry Setliff, newly-elected
student senator, resigned
effective Oct. 1, and Tammy
Martin, physical therapy
major, was appointed to
replace her.
ORJC’s second 8-week
session of the fall semester
begins Oct. 22, and late
■enrollment will continue until
Oct. 28.
‘"This session has always
drawn a substantial number of
students, and we expect more
than 1,200 this year,” said Dr.
Travis Mullins, registrar. “The
8-week session provides an
opportunity for students to get
full credit in a short period of
time,” he said.
Classes in 26 areas are
offered to student Oct. 22-
Dec. 18 as indicated on the
schedule.
Rob Carter, a non-senate
member and physics major,
was appointed to replace Setliff
on the Academic Affairs
Committee.
an interest in being on the
senate at two previous
meetings, was nominated by
Jim Pryor. Phenelda Marshall
was nominated for considera-
tion by vice president Eric
Dillow, but received only one
vote. Martin received eight
votes.
He moved the senate
disconnect itself from them and
have their own project. Pryor
volunteered to write a formal
letter informing CAP.
