our community due to volunteer-
ing for just this one project

Dear Editor.
No matter how much work you
put into gathering making and
delivering all the materials for a
festival its all in vain without
volunteers
Volunteers are so important in
any festival for without their
help nothing gets started or fin-
ished
A big heartfelt Thank You to
all the wonderful people that
volunteered their time labor
and materials (to the Mannford
Striped Bass Festival)
Especially to Debbie Gibson
and Robby Gibson for running
the Whip Cream Toss and the
Fishing Hole games Thursday

The following letter written by
Vestanna Mancuso in 1964 is
dedicated to all recent gradu-
ates to those who want to quit
school and not graduate, to
young adults and older kids in
general
File it under “Words of
Wisdom
If you don t have a tiling sys-
tem start one This is one letter
I ve referred to many times
throughout the years and one I
will pass on to my daughter
If it has an impact on just one
individual then it is worth print-
ing
He is always there with all the
materials and donations for the
Fish Scramble Grease Pole
and Money Scramble His time
and dedication can never be
thanked enough So. we ll just
say as best we can Thanks
Ray you re the greatest if we

old friends and make new

and alternative medicine thera-

Marketers Association
Day-Cook has a degree in sec-
ondary education and sociology
with an emphasis in social work
She is currently working on a
master s degree from the
University of Oklahoma in
human relations
She is a case management
coordinator with Head
Start/United Community Action
Program, Inc
She has worked at the Tulsa
Boys Home The Margaret
Hudson Program and as a writer
