Editor:
We have been warned
Brenda Boyd. News Editor
of the Mannford Eagle re
cently did a superb job of
exposing a major problem
in America - that of our
enormous trade deficit
(over $100 billion) with Chi
na
It is a primary cause of the
loss of thousands of jobs in
America Corporate greed,
government support, and
the people buying the for
eign products has put a
great strain on the Ameri
can economy Brenda states
that USA Daily reported a
loss of more than 600,000
jobs in 2002 Our govern
ment leadership's promises
that NAFTA and Congres
sional ratification of Chi
na's membership in the
WTO (World Trade Organi
zation) would increase jobs
in America were just big
flat-out lies.
If the loss of so many jobs
to China, Mexico, etc. isn't
enough warning to wake the
people up to America's cri
sis. another startling reality
is that China is a major mil
itary threat
Communist China, as with
the nature of the communist
walking trail
Randall Clayborn, presi-
dent of the Kyestone Off
Road Society, has been hard
at work laying out and deal-
ing a new bike and walking
trail at Prairie View Ramp
Les Imboden said that
even though the trail is just
roughed out, it would be
nice if a few folks would go
ride it and give feedback to
the organization
The trail begins across the
fence east of about the mid
die of the parking lot. Imod
en said
"Look for dirt piles and a
small graveled area." he
said.
Although the name of the
group incorporates the
words "offroad" these trails
are designed for mountain
bikes - non motorized.
Dale Coy of Mannford is
working on signs for the
trail to be put up at a later
date.

Imboden at 865 7151 or
