To the editor:
I would like to write this
letter about my sister Joey
(Fisher) Gursky and my
brother Dr. Harry Chayne
Fisher because I am so
proud of them.
It takes a strong person to
run a marathon (26.2 miles).
It takes an even stronger
person to run the marathon

breast cancer (Aug. 4, 2006,
two days before her 35th
birthday), having breast
surgery, and starting
chemotherapy.
Those that know Joey and
Chayne are aware that they
are determined and driven
individuals. After all, she
was the first girl in Tulsa to
play ice hockey on an all-

him.
Joey now resides in Kansas
City, Mo. (while her hubby
Ryan finished medical resi-
dency) but will be returning
to the Tulsa/Mannford area
this coming summer.
Joey works as a registered
nurse and they have three
wonderful children (Dorian
and Isabella twins and the
17 month-old baby,
Greyson). Joey's last
chemotherapy round was
two weeks prior to the Chica-
