I, Jimmy Welch, enrolled
in Vocational Agriculture
because I wanted to learn
more about animals and
how to take care of them.
One of my goals is being
an officer during my sopho-
more year. FFA is also
very challenging. And it
teaches me alot of things:
like how to do well in
raising livestock.

I enrolled in Ag most of all
because I enjoy being
around animals, I’ve al-
ways wanted to receive
something I’ve worked
hard and I thought this is
my chance.
It means alot to me. for I
may learn from my mistake
and correct what I can also
learn responsibility for my
sich that A idist. It icuns
being around people that
care. Thats what it means.
I enjoy FFA because I like
to work with people and
otherthins and I enjoy go-
ing to livestock show.
It means a kickoff” into
the world, to help me
become a better farmer in
the world. That’s what
I enrolled in Vo-Ab be-
cause I like to work with
animals and learn more
about them. I want to learn
more responsibility and
leadership. I’ve learned
more about accepting ad-
vice from not only my
instructor but upper class-
men to. It’s a privilage and
honor to be able to wear a
I, Sara Huckaby, enrolled
in Vo-Ag to learn more
about farming life I enjoy
FFA working with my lamb
and showing it. I enjoy
meeting more people at
shows, I would like being
on a judging team.
I would like to accomplish
the best there is while I’m
in Vo-Ag. FFA means
keeping up with your re-
sponsibilities. and leader-
ship.
It means a lifestyle exper-
ience to me. To help me
learn more about animals
and to get to know more
people. It also means to be
part of a Group or organiza-
tion to help each other in
everyway possible.
Sara Huckaby
I enrolled in Vo-Ag because
I am interested in animals
and I would like to further
my Vo-Ag experenc by
later being V' Ag teach-
er.
Ag means to me alot of
fun times and alot of hard
work. I enjoy being in the
chapter and hope to be
involved in my later high
school years.

I enrolled in Agriculture so
that I could learn more
about welding, pipe-
threading, and livestock
showing. Some of my
friends who were in Agri-
culture before I was told
me I would enjoy it. Now
that I’m in it I see that its
harder than I thought it
would be, but I still enjoy
it.
What does FFA mean to
me?
It is a training; of a way of
making a living. While I
am in Ag if I pay attention I
believe I will learn a good
trade that I can use after I
get out of school. It is a
class worth having.
I enrolled in Agriculture to
learn more about swine
production. I feel that
Agriculture is a very impor-
tant class to take in high
school because just about
every job is related to
agriculture in some way.
For me the FFA means
pride in doing what you are
interested in. You get a lot
of on the job training and
learn leadership and co-
operation. Being a part of
the FFA means a lot of hard
work and the satisfaction of
doing what you enjoy.
It means learning more
about teamwork and being
involved in agricultural
areas.
It means being priviledg-
ed enough to be able to
wear the Mannford F.F.A.
jacket.
It means meeting new
people and learning more
about animals. How they
lirre whaf thnu oat Unit tn
treat them when they are
sick.
F.F.A. means leadership,
loyalty, responsibility, and
learning.
I hope to increase my
knowledge in agriculture
and go on in life as a
veternarian.

What FFA means to me is
friendship and loyalty to-

means to learn more about

The responsibilities of tak-

I enrolled agriculture to
learn more about every-
thing I can about any phase
of agriculture. Mainly, I
want to adventure into new
and unknown areas that I
don’t know very much
about to learn. I have pigs
and I would like to learn
alot more about them
To be in F.F.A. is a real
honor because not every-
one can be in the organiza-
tion. It shows you have
pride in who you are and
what you do. If I didn’t
enjoy F.F.A. I would not
have cotten into Vo-Ag.
F.F.A shows that you can
learn and maybe later on in
life do what alotof people
can’t. If you continue to
work hard and learn, you
will have leadership. If you
show pride in what you do,
youwill have a better status
in everything you do. You
had better believe that it’s
alot of hard work, but after
the work is all done, you
can have a good time
