We all remember that Sabbath
morning of December 7 1941
when Japanese bomber rained da-
atruciion upon Pearl Harbor the
American naval base in the Ha-
waiian Inlands
We remember too our emotion
and fears of what we knew would
follow — the declaration of war
From reports the past three
weeks of war activity seem to be
weeks of victories for our cause
President Roosevelt speaking
of this said “This ia no time (or
exultation but time for more
working and fighting"
With that idea in mind ' the
Fort Towson School ia sponsoring
a Pearl Harbor Day December 7
On that day the school plans to
have the weekly stamp parade
-The goal is $100 - r
-- The school is asking the parents
and town peopie to belp i in this
: campaign by buying Pearl Harbor
bonds and stamps
Eighty local boys and girls are
among those Americans who are
fighting this global war — while
they are fighting we must be Work
hig to help them fUht better
