while the rest are going to plant

free trip to Oklahoma City
during the State Fair
School iB progressing as nicely
as usual We have three new pu-
pils this month the Miller child-
ren formerly of Colbert Bryan
county who with their parents
have lately moved here We wel-
come them to the Higgins sohool
Several students are making
preparations for the sohool meet
to be held in Wilburton on April
9th and 10th This is our first
time to enter still we hope to let
others know that we have been
there v
Higgins boasts this reoord this
year for ball games Ws have
won two games and lost none
A week ago we beat Buffalo 10
to 8 They weren't satisfied so
challenged us to another gams
whioh was played this week In
the seoond game which waB full
of interest throughout and whioh
kept the spectators wondering
who would win Higgins nosed
out ahead by a score of 3 to 2
We were in the lead throughout
but never had a safe lead We
have one of the best teams in the
oounty and later are going to
challenge other teams in the
oounty
