fighting the constitution

We honestly hope and ask that
every voter in Dewey Co irre-
sptive of party read the platforms
adopted by the Democratic party
and the Republican party in Dew-
ey county place them side by
side read them carefully and fair-
ly and decide which one is a de-
claration of issues’ of benefit to
our people and which one is a
purely partisan declaration

In asking the support of the
voters of Dewey Co for the
nominees of the Democratic
county ticket we believe that we
can honestly and consistently ask
the support all the voters irre
-pectiyc of party affiliations
They are to a man absolutly
clean honest law abiding intcl
egent citizen and each and every
one of them were selected by the
vote of their paity each and every
one of them were nominated by
the primary system of nominating
and were the choice of the people
chosen for their standard bearers
on account of their particular fit-
ness for the respective offices No
ring or clique had any part or
parcel in the naming of thi-- ticket
and any claim made by any man
or paper that these candidates
were not the absolute choice of
the rank and file of their party is
to silly to occupy the attention o
any one Our space in this issue
is to limited to permit us to give
an extended write up of the
different candidates at this time
but it is our intentions to do so in
the near future We wish to cal
attention first to1 our candidate
for Representative M L Jones
Iu the election of Representative
there is one particular thing para-
mount to all others and that is that
the representatives will be called
upon to create new laws that will
be in harmony with the constitu-
tion and that will be of beuitit to
the people of this county In re-
gard to Mr Jones qualifications

and his ability to represent the
people of this county in any court
can not be questioned In proof
