Income taxpayers have until Jan-
uary 15 to make their final payment
On 1946 income tax If the return
can be completed by that time a tax-
payer may submit with the final pay-
ment a final or amended return If
the final return shows that not enough
tax has been paid during the year
the balance can be sent If however
too much has been sent a refund can
be expected Declaration of the esti-
mated tax for 1947 must be made on
or before March 15 1947 At this time
all or the first quarter of the tax for
1947 must be paid as must also any
deficiency in the 1946 tax '
At one-time salt was regarded as
being almost as valuable as gold
Soldiers officials and working people
in Creese and Rome received all or
part of their salaries in salt This pay
was called “salarium” from whence
comes our term “salary”

Notice is hereby given to all per-
sons concerned that the Directors of
The B and 0 Cash Store a corpora-
tion organized and existing under and
by virtue of the laws of the State of
Oklahoma with its principal place of
business in the City of Temple Cot-
ton County State of Oklahoma did
on the 31st day of December 1946
present to the District Court of Cot-
ton County State of Oklahoma the
duly verified written application of
the Directors of said The B and O
Cash Store praying the District Court
of Cotton County Oklahoma for an
order and decree of dissolution of said
corporation that the Court after full
consideration of the written verified
application of the Board of Directors
of said corporation made and entered
its order directing the Court Clerk of
Cotton County State of Oklahoma to
file said written verified application
and to cause notice of the filing of
said application to be printed in The
Temple Tribune a newspaper printed
published and of general circulation
in Cotton County State of Oklahoma
notifying all persons having claims
against said corporation or in any
manner interested therein to appear
and file in said court' any and all ob-
jections they or either of them may
have tq the dissolution of said cor-
poration on or before the 31st day of
January 1947 at 9 o’clock A M to
the end that such objection if any
there be shall be fully considered by
the court before the making of any
further order or the granting of said
petition and application so as afore-
said filed by the Board of Directors
of said corporation in this court
This notice is given pursuant to an
order of the District Court of Cotton
County State of Oklahoma duly
made and entered in this proceeding

and all creditors stockholders or
other persons who will be affected by
an order judgment or decree of the
court granting a dissolution of The
B and 0 Cash Store are requested
to take notice and govern themselves
accordingly
