-One of-4h strongest evidences' of
the rapidly growing popularity of
Tanlac and ofthe wonderful results
il is accomplishing is the large num-
ber of letters that are being received
daily from well known men and wo-
men throughout the' south "
' Scarcely a day passes that scores
of letters are not received from
grateful users of 'Tanlac ' and their
statements are indeed remarkable
Among the number recently reteived
is the following letter from William
Breed of Longview 'Tex which-is
published word for word just as it
was written
Longview' Texas " '
' January 13 1917
To Whpm It May Concern— '
On November 25 I bought one bot-
tle of Tanlac and commenced taking
rraVV m- oo the am according to directions I
Frank Andrews wme — -weighed only one hundred and thirty
H T Rogers same :— 4523
— — pounds In ten days I gained seven
pounds and 1 am gaining at the rate
of five pounds aNwcek and weigh
one hundred and fifty-five pounds at
the present time- Tanlac beats any
medicine that I have ever taken to
build up a t run ' dowi) ' system I
would not take $100 for what it has
done for me It is the best medicine
that I have ever taken for catarrh of
the head and I have tried several dif-
ferent kinds of catarrh ' medicines
My catarrh is nearly gone also my
stomach trouble of which I have
been suffering for more than twenty
years has almost disappeared and
I give all praise to your great medi-
cine When' I commenced staking
Tanlac I could not do a day’s work
but now I believe' I can do as much
hard work as any man '
' Very truly

SOME RESULTS OF
PROPER GLASSES
- School is hard on the eyes be-
cause the eyes are forced to do an
excessive amount of work But the
eyes can stand a lot and not give
warning and so the child keeps
right on wearing out his eyes
There is little doubt that - we all
suffer the consequences of using
our eyes at school in ways that
Nature never intended they should
be used Yet we all want our chil-
dren to have a good education so
we keep on sending them jto school
where to get the education we think
they should have they must overuse
their eyes Some people have tried
to get around the difficulty by keep-
ing their children out of school un-
til nine or ten years of age and theii
expect them to advance by leaps
and bounds 'and catch up It does
not happen so -
To be a good scholar' requires
lots 'of school life The idea that
previous physical1 training will make
a child shoot ahead like a sky rocket
when he 'starts his school work
doesn’t work out in practice So if
the children are to get a good school
education they must start early and
take the chances with their eyes and
if their eyes are defective they must
resort to proper glasses
I will be ill Okemah for the pur-
pose of correcting defective ' eyes
with proper glasses at Broadway
hotel Friday September 21 1917
