Friend Palmer:—Our trip over bere
wae not marked by any very notable
events. We had the pleasure of laying
over In Wichita all day Monday taking
in the A. O. U. W. exercises which
were grand. We left Wichita at 8:15
p. m., and 1 hardly know what way
they sent us as we were on the train
all night, arriving here 8:30 a. m. Tuee
day. There are some as rough roads be-
tween Wichita and here as 1 ever rode
over. We were very fortunate or
wise, in laying over at Wichita and
getting here lu daylight, as a tender
foot needs hi> wits and daylight to get
along without running up against a
circumstance. We secured a real nlee
location for our home while we stay.
Before night the day we arrived we
were at home bed and baggage, had se-
cured a load of wood and felt very well
satlsiled with our first day. Eureka
Springs ia quite a city when you get
where you ean see It, which of course
is up on the top of the mountains, the
elty being principally located below,
and along the various slopes, ravinee,
etc. It la said there are 42 springe; the
water 1* seemingly very pure, and I
preeume that the climbing of the hills
will be beneficial to the health. More

March 13. Two Jolly Rovers aud
Mlltons' Comedians, lhls is the last
show booked for this season and one
of the best, in fact this company has
no superiors in their line and few
equals. The performance is entirely
different from any we have had. It'ie
full of specialties, which so delight
our people. It is a vaudeville perform
atice with all that goes to make it an
enjoyable one. There is a trapeze part
and some choice music. The "Two
