A Struggle for Gold
“A Struggle for Gold” is the
title of one of the most popular
melo-dramas of the season and
is presented under the careful
management of Woods and
Thompson This is not one of
those blood and thunder melo-
drmas but is a good clean story
of the the California gold fields
in ’49
The play is full of clean cut
and snappy comedy and good old
fash on ed common sense The
scenery is beautiful the effects
realistic and the costuming in
harmony with the story of the
play The cast has been care-
fully selected and only such
people have been engaged that
have proven to be artistic and
conscientious workers and that
pay strict attention to detail
This company features six high-
class specialties which are intro
duced between the acts Guar-
anteed to be as advertised or
money refunded
There is no economy in buying
cheap soaps Most all yellow or
brown soaps contain a large per
cent of rosin as a filling Rosin
has no washing properties what-
ever but is used only in soap as
a filler and to make it cheap
Maple City Self Washing soap is
strictly pure and will go much
farther than any rosin-filled soap
and do better work It saves
a vast amount of labor and is
much easier on the clothes than
so much rubbing Try it as di-
rected on the wrapper For sale
exclusively by Briscoe Bros
