Memorial chapel at Vinita
Buss died at 7 am Sunday
in Craig General hospital at
Vinita following an illness
of some three months Victim
of a heart condition he had
been in ill health for several
years
Alphons Henry Buss was
born January 15 1916 in
Muenster Texas As a child
hs went with his family to
Vinita making his home there
for the past 44 years
He was a member of the
Holy Ghost church
Surviving is the widow
Nettie Hayes Buss a daugh-
ter and son Trella Scott and
Fred Buss Vinita four
grandchildren two sisters

sas City Mo and Mrs H F

Thomas died Thursday in
the Veterans hospital at
Muskogee following a brief
illness
A native of Vinita Henry
Harrison Thomas was born
July 27 1913 He grew up in
Vinita attended school there
Thomas had lived in Vinita
most of his life
at Vinita for some seven
He operated the 66 motel
years until 1966 Thomas had
recently been working as a
salesman for a motor club
He was a world war II ve-
teran of service with the army
air force
Surviving is his mother
Kate Harrison Thomas Vi-
nita a brother Louis O
Thomas Anadarko and two
sisters Mrs Louis D Fletcher
and Mrs Edward J Crawford
