Fidelity and Guaranty Company
numbered 9309 in the sum of $10

American Surety Company of
New York in the sum of $5009-

The following resolution was
this day duly made seconded
anl carried:
WHEREAS on October 9th
1913 a resolution was duly pass-
ed adopted and approved by
the board jf County Commission-
ers of Cotton County Oidahomr
to fund the outstanding judg-
ment indebtness of said Cotton
County and in paragraph three
(3) of said resolution in provid-
ing for the signing of the bonds
proposed to be issued it contains
the words “and countersigned
by the treasurer thereof” which

the District Court of Cotton
County on the 20th day of Oct-
ober 1913 in the said fundment
proceedings and said bonds werd
duly sold to Geo R Broadwell
on the 20th day of October 1913
by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Cotton County
Oklahuma at a meeting thereof
on that date and said purchaser
has requested this Board to
make its meaning more clear
with reference to the counter
signing of said bonds Therefore
Be it resolved by the Buaid of
County Commissioners of Cot'
ton County Oklahoma in regular
session of December 1913 meet-
ing of said Board that the reso-
lution passed adopted and ap-
proved by this Board on the 9
day of Oct 1913 providing for
the funding of the outstanding
judgement indebtedness of said
county be and the same is here-
by amended by striking out the
words “and countersigned by
the treasurer thereof” which ap-
pears in the first sentence of
the third paragraph thereof and
the bonds signed by the chair
man of the Board of County
Commissioners and attested by
the Clerk by said County under
the corporate seal thereof which
were authorized by said resolu-
tion be and the same are declar-
ed authorized ratified and con-
firmed as the true intent of said

October 20 1913 awarding said
bonds so issued to Geo R Broad-
well be and the same is hereby
ratified and confirmed
