The following new counties
have been mapped oufc by the
boundary committee t)f the con-
stitutional convention. It will be
the greatest fight of the conven-
tion for the adoption of the re-
port. Oklahoma gets nine new
counties, total thirty-five and the
Indian Territory forty counties:
BEAVER COUNTY
Beaver, eastern one-third.
Texas, central one-third.
Cimarron western one-

Harper county, northwest-
ern portion.
45. Ellis, southwestern corner
and northern portion of Day.
46. Roger Mills, southern por-
tion Day couqty and northern
portion Roger Mills county.
47. No name, southern part of
Roger Mills and about 18 miles
off northern part of Greer county.
GREER COUNTY
48. Greer county, balance of
original county excepting south-
eastern portion.
49. Jackson county, south-
eastern portion of the county.
COMANCHE COUNTY
50. Tillman, the southwestern
portion of original county, balance
of county remaining same but a
strip off the eastern side.
WOODS COUNTY

The Oklahoma Electric Railway
and Gas association met and or-
ganized at Oklahoma City last
Thursday. The association is
composed of members from the
two territories, and has as its ob-
ject the betterment of service
along the lines of business in
which the members are engaged.
Among the officers elected, we
notice the name of C. F. Mercer,
of Geary, as a member of the
executive committee.
Carmen, Okla, Dec. 18.—J. H.
Richey, trainmaster at Geary,
while serving as acting brakeman
was the victim of a peculiar acci-
dent at Bickford. Whilestanding
near the track a shot fired frum
the nearby hills struck the rail
and glancing hit him in the fore-
head inflicting an ugly wound.
He was brought here for madical
attention.
