THE UNIVERSAL CAR
STORM AT ENID
Enid was visited by a heavy
rain late Sunday afternoon It
was accompanied by hail
wind and much lightning
- Many trees were blown
down and others badly broken
up by the wind
: Hardly any rain fell at
Ringwood and Meno but La-
homa was in the edge of the
storm' and had a good shower
It is reported that a mule
and horse belonging to James
Anglin southeast of Lahoma
were struck by lightning and
killed during the storm
NOTHING TO IT
E S Ingham says that
there is nothing to the report
that he was standing on the
street crossing talking when
he met with his recent ' acci-

that “durned” Ford just sim-
ply chased him up there and
tramped on him besides com-

Demand is heavy
In spite of the fact that the output of Ford Cars and
Trucks in June exceeded the production for May by near-
ly 5000 reaching the high mark of 175040 demand is
still exceeding production and there hasn’t been a time
this year when production any ways near met the demand
The demand for Ford Trucks and Light Delivery Cars
has bekn particularlyheavy from business men and farm-
ers’ More than twice as many being sold this year as
were sold last year
Dealers have no stocks' on hand and haven’t' had for
months buyers taking the output as fast as it comes
from tbe plants
In view of these conditions hadn’t you better leave your
order for that new Ford Car Truck or Fordson Tractor
