Our Schools Close
The Inola public schools closed
last Friday with a picnic on tim-
ber hill. 1 lie teachers and the
pupils went in a body and the
parents followed later with a
plenty of good things to eat and
a regular old fashioned picnic
dinner was spread to which all
did ample justice.
I he high school entertainment
was given Saturday night and
the exercises consisted of a play
entitled "A Family Affair." The
characters were, Keies Spain
bower, Eddie Smith, Albert Bur
tfiri^ Leon a Rogers, Stella Mc
Lain and Caltlia . V\ illiams. All
acquitted themselves in a most
creditable manner.
