prised Thursday morning when
the news came that Mr M E
Scarborough the city marshal
had died very suddenly about 5
o’clock in the morning Mr
Scarborough was on the streets
Wednesday evening appearent-
ly as well as usual When he
arose next morning suffered an
attack of paralysis of the heart
Dr Irvin was called but nothing
could be done and he passed
away in a very short time The
funeral will be held Sunday We

church have made the following
resolutions
1st Resolved: We will co-
operate with the Ladies Aid of
other churches of Gage by us-
ing our social moral and re-
ligious influence to suppress the
desecration of the Sabbath— in
