school election was qnitt lively
but was entirely in a good humor
The vote was 'a little surprising
to some The hpuse was called to
order by the director on time
The first the minutes of the past
meeting was riirf and then the
business was begun where was left
off in the first meeting The
election of officers was called and
Mr Jay E ' Jones was elected

moters of the road were ready to
begin actual physical construction
prior to the special election June
11 but since the proposed amend-
ment to the constitution was de-
feated at that time time the en-
gineers have been busy endeavoring
to select a route along the north line
of the panhandle strip just across in
Kansas and Colorado After thor-
ough investigation suoh a course
failed to prove practical and it was
decided return to the original survey
over which it is declared the road
will be built' but they did not
commit themselves as to how soon
it will be built—1 Tribune'"
