1900. The run of quarantine cattle

receipts after Tuesday increased

was almost entirely lost on steers
by the end of the week, but cows
held the most of It, calves off 50 to

has received in the last week leaves

Cattle receipts are light lu the Na-
tive division today, and are running
below normal for this season, account
of backward grass, and it will be a
week or two before the movement of
grassers from native territory coin
mences in earnest, which would aeem
to be an opportune time for holders
of fit catUe in the quarantine district
to send them In.
The hog market appeared to be
without a friend tbe first half of
last week, but managed to rally some
support Thursday and thereafter
and is again stronger today. The
run Is 4000 today, market 5 to 10
higher, greatest strength on weights
below 200 lbs., which are selling up
to $7.70 today, best heavy hogs $7.80,
medium weights $7.50 to $7.75. Pack
ers are unmerciful in their insistence
for low prices, but Eastern killers are
placaing a good many orders here
every day, which keeps other buyers
in line. Larger supplies last week
were the excuse for the low prices,
but the total for July fell 50,000 head
short of same month last year, and
was the lightest July since 190!*.

Claremore Women Are Finding Relief
At Last.
It does seemlhat women have more
than a fair share of the uches ami
pains that afflict humanity; they
must "keep up," must attend lo du-
ties in spite of constantly aching
backs, or headaches, dizzy sollsp
bearing-down pains; they must sloop
over when stoop means torture. They
must walk and bend and work with
racking pains and many aches from
kidney ills. Kidneys cause more suf-
fering than any other organ of the
body. Keep the kidneys well and
health is easily maintained. Head of

and cures the kidneys and is endor

Mrs. A. E. Blacburn, Tenth & Hem-
"For about fifteen years I had kid-
ney trouble. There was a constant
dull ache in the small of my back,
dizzy spells were common and black
spots often flitted before my eyes.
The kidney secretions were too fre-
quent in passage and caused much
distress. I finally used Donn's Kid-

a perfectly reliable kidney remedy."

Postage on Post Cards.
Claremore, Ok la., August 4, tom
To the Editor Claremore Messenger:
Sir:—There appears to be such a
great misunderstanding .by the public
of tbe regulations of the Postal De-
partment in regard to the mailing of
postal cards, that have any kind of
tinsel, mica, glass or other substance
other than ordinary printed or pic-
ture matter on their face, that 1 am
asking you to publish this, so that
they may become fully advised In
the matter. I do this from the fact
that every week we have to send
form t n to twenty-five such cards
to the Dead Letter Office, which
must be a disappointment to the
senders.
The regulations require that al!
cards that have any foreign sub-
stance, such as mica, glass, tinsel an<
material of that nature on their face
shall be enclosed in an envelope, the
envelope sealed, and to bear a two
cent stamp, otherwise it is not mail
able and is returned to the Dead
Respectfully,
