Uncle Ben Bozarth Dead
Benjamin R Bozarth of Lipscomb
County 68 years oldr died at a hos-
pital in Wichita Kansas on Thurs-
day of last week after an operation
His death followed shortly after the
operation owing to his weakened con-
dition by several months of suffering
Thqbqdy was shipped to Shattuck on
Friday and taken from here to Fair-
mont cemetary near Ivanhoe for in-
terment R B Bozarth a son who
is in the employ of the Santa Fe
railway at Wellington Kansas was
present when his father died The
deceased leaves several children who
five on a ranch in Lipscomb county
We met Mr Bozarth at tbe hotel in
Higgins just a few days before he left
for Wichita and he seemed to be in
fine spirits He was one of Lipscomb
oounty’s best citizens and will be
missed by bis friends and neighbors
