Mottier is the one who bears the brtint of the strife
and cares of life It is that fond embrace and passion-
ate kiss of hers that drives away all doubt and heats the
broken heart It is her love that orings joy to the world
and the rugged ways are made smooth by her gentleness
and pleasant smiles
To her we owe the best that is in us To her we
should be kind and affectionate To you who have a moth-
er we would say honor respect and esteem her She is
your i test friend She Is the mainstay of the home the
pil ar of society and the character builder of men boys
and girls Love her treat her kindly and God will bless

in sorrow for those hasty angry words that caused moth- r
ers heart to bleed with anguish in the solitude of lonely
hours Mother should be the
guest of honor of the world to-
day No banquet ever spread is
rich ' enough and rare enough
to reward her for her ' goodness
She should be given equal
rights with father for it is moth-
er who shields protects and
cares for father when’ he is but a
boy Mother knows the need
of a purer Society in which to
rear the fathers of today
