The Fountain Team came over
liefe laat Saturday with a strong
line up and again took the honor
from the Tigers in a good game
with the exception of one inning
The game was cloely contested
but in the sixth inning the visi-
tors i succeeded in getting two
home runs and "coring five men
The Fountain boys brought elev'
en men and were lined up to beat
the home team while as usual
' the Tigers were three men short
' and one thing that must be look
ed after if we expected to play

A number of our citizens sign
ed a contract last week with the
J B White Lyceum Agency ' of
Kansas City for a series of lec-
tures to be given this coming
winter in all five lectures and
musical entertainments will be
given 1 to our citizens ' They
have secured some cf the best
platform lecturers that can be

Imperial Concert Company are
amongst the attractions that will
be placed ou the board Ail of
the above attractions are people
of world wide reputation and our
people should lend every effort
to the committee to make these

lecture will be given about the
first of November and every 80
days thereafter uniil all are giv
