the Cumberland church.

190Q, Dec. So, the members of the
Cumberland church met in
special session in the afternoon
at 3;30 and business of import-
ant was transacted.
The great mistake of trying to
unite these churches is now be-
ing realized by both churches
nd it is found that about only
two fifths of the Cumberland's
went into the Presbyterian
church, the remaining three
fifths have stood loyal to the be-
lief of Cumberland church and
have been in every case given
their property by the courts
when the matter has been taken
lo court for settlement. The
property consisted of schools,
churches, publishing houses and
