ter of Mr and Mrs Geo' Krug
who live west of town and is
liked by sit she having attended
school here and has always been
one of the social set ' Dr Dingus
came here in-July of last year
immediately after having been
mustered out-of the arm and
has made tri ends' out of ail ac-
quaintances by his honest straigh

placed in the middle of the river
and work on which was stopped

the floods all right and all that
has to be done now is to connect
up the main line on both sides

The Christian revival under
the leadership of Rev Ingold
entered its third - week last Sun-
day There has been a good spirit
of co-operation shown by all the
people pf the town the Method-
ists Baptists ' and ' all ' goi og
night after night and taking an
active part Bru Ingold has ac-
complished a great deal of good
preaching good ' instructive ser-
mons one thing above all peing
the interest developed by him in
the children in what he calls “a
Bible drill’’ So well are the little
fellows instructed that they can
repeat the books of the' Bible
tell us lots of things that a whole
of the older people camot
On Saturday nibj: and Sun-
day of the first week a contest
was held Between the children of
the age of 9 to IS as to who
could name the books of the Bi-
ble first They had only a few
days to prepare for this but sev-
eral of them made the effort

prize of $lThen the children un-
der the age of 9 tried It

Last Sunday night an offering
was taken tor Rev Iogold and
sum of $238 was given him for

show their good will the congre

and presented it to him Bro Beal
was so taken back with - surprise
that this is one time he had noth
ing to say but everyone in the
audience could tell that he appre-
ciated the amount to the fullest
