where he has been for a couple years He
says the prospect is good ' there this
year Mrs McCleary has been in poor
health there on account of the high

The Dobson bay team ' attached to
one of their ice wagons took a header
toward the city waterworks reservoir
Wednesday morning and plunged in
The wagon luckily did not gb in but it
took about twelve men to save the
team and ' get them out ' which was
done after they were separated
Tke parties who are here represent-
ing the Fort Scott company have met
with cordial encouragement in the es-
tablishment of a factory for the manu-
facture of motor trucks etc Several
local men have signified their intention
of taking stock and helping the enter-
prise along iri case the plant is moved
here It means considerable to our
own—a number of employes and the
proprietors of the works who will be-
come citizens of Miami '
