I've had high Hi 11s to shojt at and
lakes to drive aeposs
I’ve fought mv wav thro'igh bunk-
ers which try all golfing souls
And I' thought I had encountered
the meanest golfing holes
But I -humped' in one in Texas to

The thirteenth hole at Dallas of the

It slopes towards ac river nnd the
river -winds and bends
And tho stream is so contrary that
it- haRu’t nnv friends
Them is troublo all around yon
from too up ‘o the green
And for downr'rcht cussed meanness
it’s the meanest hole I’ve seen
It’s a golf bail cemetery of con-
fusion it's the hub
Is that thirteenth hole at Dallas ol

Now I face the’ future calmly and
there’s nothing more I dread
Ditches bunkers or bnrancas I’ll

There Is no distress before tne like

I’ll meet any golfing peril with a

KEEP FEET DRY
Tells Rheumatism Sufferers-
Take- Salts and Get Rid
of Uric Acid
to
Rheumatism is no respecter of age
sex color or rank If not the most
dangerous of human afflictions it is
one of tlie most painful Those subject!
to rheumatism should’ cat- less meat
dress as warmly as possible avoid any:
undue exposure and above all drink
lots of pure water
Rheumatism is caused- by uric aetd
which fs generated in the bowels and
absorbed into the blood It is the func-
tion of the kidneys to filter this acid
from the blood and cast it out in the
urine the pores of - the skin- are also-
a means of freeing the blood of this
impurity In damp and chilly cold
weather the skin pores are closed thu
forcing the kidneys to do double work
they become weak and sluggish and fail
to eliminate this uric acid which keeps
accumulating and circulating through
the system eventually settling in the
joints and muscles causing stiffness
soreness and pain called rheumatism
At the first twinge of rheumatism get
from any pharmacy about four ounces
of Jad Salts- put 'a tablespoonful in a
glass of water and drink before break-
fast each morning for a week This
is said to eliminate uriq acid by stimu-
lating the kidneys to normal actioni
thus -ridding the blood of these impur-
ities '
Jad Salts is inexpensive harmless and
is made from the acid of grapes and
lemon juice combined with lithia and
is used with excellent results by thour
sands of folks-who are subject to rheu-
matism Here you have a pleasant
effervescent litliia-vatcr drink which
overcomes uric acid r"d is beneficial
to your ld!’?y as well
