A resident ot what is now Wagoner County
Eleven Years has been actively engaged in the
practice ot law in the Erobate Court ot Wagoner
County for seven years
- When one comes to vote for the nominee for County Judge
there are several fundamental considerations that should be in
tie' mTiici of the voter" While it istSmmofl to stff that
office or that county office is the most important and responsible
official position to occupy still there are several of the public
trusts that equally appeal to the thoughtfulness of the citizen
when he earnestly endeavors to pick out the man who is best quali
fied and best fitted by nature for the particular office to be filled
The County Judge who passes on so many things touching the
interests and rights of the citizens of the county is high up in this
category He should be well up in the practice should have the
judicial temperament should be known to the people of the county
and should personally know their needs their surroundings their
hopes their wants and with this should have from a personal
residence among them a deep sympathy and personal interest in
them in all the phases in which their rights their privileges and
interests may be brought before him as such Court in one way or
another — either as a litigant a defendant a witness a juror an
administrator guardian a ward or in any of all the various phases
in which the County Judge is called on to deal with the people of
the county
Among the candidates who have offered for this post there is
no man who measures up as fully in every respect to this stand-
ard as does J C Pinson— scholarly with University education
steady in habits learned in the law having borne the brunt of
full practice here for seven years agreeable in manner upright in
character alike popular with the bar and people he would seem
to be equipped to the making of a model County Tttdge
