which always happens it seems
One is told of tbe untimely death of
a little boy who was taken sway by
a contagious disease contracted in a
simple and accidental manner and
because of this contagion not even s

be given before assighment to bis

respected citizen called away because
of an accident tbe misjudging of s

along tbe line that this is not tbe
best way there would be some sense
to the argument but to make tbe
broad assertion that tbe people do
not vote for tbe president is silly
If tbe power of tbe federar judges
should betakeu away tbe vote pow-

During tbe last session of tbe state
legislature tbe politicians passed a
number of bills providing ior tbe
looting of tbe school fund for build
ing needless buildings and schools
throughout tbe state and takiug this
fund from tbe rural communities
The governor vetoed these bills aud
saved the school treasury from being
looted by town boomere as be should
have done These bills were passed
by an agreement of tbe politicians
interested and by certain combina-
tions iormed in an unholy alliance
of special ibterests What would
be the condition of the state today
if tbe veto power of tbe governor

the people were elected by tbe peo-

taken away bow will this unjust de

This order of the board ia plainly
unconstifutional aa it is practically
confiscation of property Isn’t it
right that tbe people should have
some recourse from this unjust de

waa no redress in this instance bow
long would tbe people remain iu
such a state?
