Be it ordained by the President and
Board of Trostees of the incorporated
town of Quinlan in regular session as-
sembled, That
There shall be and 1b hereby levied
on each business or occupation herein
named and carried on in the town of
Quinlan, Okla., a license tax from and
after date of this ordinance which
each person or persons or business
shall be reuired to pay cash in au-
vance as follows: Public shooting $5
per quarter; public bowling alleys, $5
per quarter; public dancing hall, $5
per quarter; skating rink, $5 per quar-
ter.
Sec. 2. All license enumerated in
Sec. 1, of this ordinance shall be due
and payable in advance.
Sec. 3 Any person, firm or corpor-
ation desiring to obtain such license
shall first make an application in writ-
ing to the town clerk of said town of
Quinlan, Okla. specifying the name or
names of business and purpose for
which said license is desired and shall
thereupon pay to the clerk of said
town of Quinlan, Okla., the license tax
as herein provided and shall receive
a license to conduct such business de-
signated Jn such; license shall be post-
ed in a conspicuous place within the
building where such business is to be
conducted.
Sec. 4. Any person, firm or corpora-
tion violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a
misdomeanor and upon conviction
thereof shall be subject to a fine not
less than $5.00 or more than $25.00
and costs or imprisonment in the town
jaii not to exceed 30 days or both fine
and imprisonment.
Sec. 5. That no license herein en-
numerated shall be transferable.
This ordinance shall be in full force
after its passage, approval and publi-
cation,

The Yeomen of Quinlan will have
an anniversary celebration at that
place Friday night of next week at
which a good time Is expected.

anivcrsary celebration which will take
place on Feb. 27th. Arrangement are
thready completed for a large class
adoption ,and a large number of visit-
ors from outside homesteads will be in

Relating to Cigarettes.

board of trustees of the incorporated
town of Quinlan in regular session as-
sion asembled, That
it shall be unlawful for any person,
firm, company or corporation, to sell,
offer for sale, or otherwse dispose of
upon any pretext or devise or to bring
into town of Quinlan for the purpose
of selling, offering for sale, or barter,
or giving away any cigarettes, cigar-
ette papers or substitute thereof and
That any person, persons, firm or
corporation violating any of Ihe
provisions of this ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdomeanor and
upon conviction shall be fined in any
sum of not less than $10 nor more
than $25.00 and costs for each offense
at the discretion of the court of said
town of Quinlan, Okla.
This ordinance shall be in effect af-
ter passage, aproval and publication.
Passed and approved this 6th, day
of Feb. 1911.

ORDINANCE No. 10.
Of the Town of Quinlan, Okla.
Relating to Livery Barns.
Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the presi-
dent and board of trustees of the in-
corporated town of Quinlan, in regular
session assembled, That
All persons, firms, or corporations
owning or operating any livery barns,
feed yards or feed barns, within the
incorporated town of Quinlan, shall
between the 1st and 15th of each
month haul all manure and refuse
from the yards or lots of said stable,
feed yard or barn, and all such accu-
mulation and refuse to be hauled or
dumped outside the town limits.
Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful for any
such person, firm or corporation to
dump or turow any such accumula-
tion in any street or alley of said town
of Quinlan.
Sec. 3. Any person firm or corpor-
ation violating any of the provisions of
thl sordinance shall be deemed guilty
of misdomeanor and upon conviction
thereof shall be fined in any sum not
less than $5.00 nor more than $25.00
and costs.
This ordinance shall be in effect, af-
ter its passage, approval and publica-
tion.

of Feb. 1911.

ORDINANCE No. 1J.
Of the Town of Quinlan, tjk.
Relating to Railroads.
Be it ordained by the president and
board of trustees of the incorporated
town of Quinlan, Okla., in regular ses-
sion assembled. That
Sec. 1. It shall be unlawful for any
person, firm or corporation owning or
operating any railroad within the town
limits of Quinlan, Okla., to run their
trains or engines through said town of
Quinlan faster than fifteen (15) miles
per hour.
Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful for any
such person, firm, company or corpor-
ation so operating any such railroad
to allow their trains or cars to block-
ade any street or alley within the lim-
its of the said town of Quinlan, to ex-
ceed five minutes.
Sec. 3. Any such person, firm, com-
pany or corporation violating any of
the sections of this ordinance sh*>ll be
deemed guilty of a misdomeanor and
upon conivction thereof shall be fined
in a sum of not less than $10.00 nor
more than $25.00 and costs for each
offence. This ordinance shall take ef-
fect and be in full force from and after
its passage, approval and publication.

It shall be unlawful for any person,
persons, firm, company or corporation,
to dump manure, filth, tin cans or
other obnoxous debris on any unoc-
upied or vacant lots within the town
limits of said town of Quinlan, Ok.
Sec. 2. Any such person, persons,
firm or corporation violating the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be guil-
ty of a misdomeanor and upon con-
viction there of shall be fined not less
than $1 no more than $5.00 and costs.
This ordinance shall be in force, its
passage approved and publication.
Passed and approved the 6th day of
Feb. 1911.
