to this community about the time
of the opening of the Strip Be-
lieving that it was not good “ for
man to he alone” took u u to him-
self a wife March 21st 1895 and
sett'ed down to a life of connubial
biss
On January 21st 1896 a bounc-
ing litt e baby girl whom they
cal'ed Laura came to break the
stillness of their lonely home and
cheer the hearts of these fond par-
ents Then in timely sucession

During their years of wedded
life they have never had a serious
accident nor have they ever need-
ed the assistance of a physician
Last Monday morning vtli Bussed
a scene that would have made the

ordinary expression could lie have
witnessed that procession of seven
little toe-headed urchins wending
its way down the dusty high-way
