are some 106 drilling wells rig and
new locations Asioming that 50 pc
cent of th 106 produce 500 barrUi
per well we have an additional 26-
500 barrels per day Say the present
production of the field ia reduced 25
per cent by the time the 106 wells are
finished we find that at that time in-
stead of prorstion having reduced
the out put it has increased the field
to about 60000 barrels per day A’
Stroud end Tonkawa there is also
quite a lot of activity so it is only
natural to expect these field will add
to the general increase of production
The fact that those who have es-
tablished the proration of the oil are
In many cases also operators make
the situation a hard oa to undet-
stand If a wrong has been done in
creating over-production would it not
be natural to try to correct the situs
tion by decreasing the production
wherever it is possible but as shown
in the Cromwell pool this Is not be-
ing done instead an active campaign
is being carried on and the oil placed
in storage Our fields which have
had no part in this overproduction
are placed on the same basis as those
with flush production and which are
the cause of the demoralized condi-
tion of today
Another bad and unfair situation
is what confronts the land of roy-
alty owner Fifty percent of your
oil will be run into storage at a cost
of 3 cents per barrel a month or an
part thereof Twenty-two cents will
be chaiged for each barrel gather-
ing and transportation charges an-othey-
2 percent will be deducted from
your account for loss while in stor-
age Your oil which may bo of high
gravity will be mixed a common
stock and when you get your returns
you will be paid on the common
stock basis You may be entitled i-
$200 per barrel but when the re-
turns are made you will likely receive
$160 This applies to oil run- by
some of the refineries

for County Clerk
To the Voters of Okfuskee County:
Sin'e Is Impossible for me to see each of you in-
dividuaUy I take this means of letting you know that I
am candidate for County Clerk
I worked some years as Proof Reader In the Combe
Printing office at St Joseph Mo one of the largest offl-
ces of its kind in the northwest Have also served four
years as deputy under C W Board in this office in this
£®J®ty The deputy’s work in this office is synonymous
with the Principal’s and I therefore can assure you that
I am fully competent to fill the office with credit to aU
If you see proper to give me your support in the
primary I assure you that I shall acquit myself with
credit and attempt satisfaction for the entire community
I ®m sorry to say that there are some rumors being
circulated that are wholly false I do not know from
whom or whence they came It is being circulated that
I have now selected ‘at least one of my deputies in case
I am elected to this office The thought of selecting De-
- puties has never entered my mind If I am elected I
assure you that the Deputies I may select will be compet-
ent and that you will have no reason Jto find fault with
them -
-V
It is also being circulated that I happen to be one of
the supremely wealthy I might say that I only wish this
were true I will say however that I am not asking your
support through sympathy My means are rather limit-
- ed and I am not reckoned among the wealthy in my-com-munity
- - -
My opponents are neighbors of mine and gentlemen
for whom I have highest respect but I assure you that
if I am elected to this office neither of them will serve as
my Deputy
I Thanking you in advance for your support I am
Respectfully ‘
