A “Serious” Plant
The Missus is on the qul rive just
She has a nlght-bloom-
Some people spell it
'rereus but I prefer to spell it the
'other way because it is easier and
means more to me It is serious with
the Missus because she is anxiously
waiting for it to bloom and cannot
sleep good until it pulls that stunt
off This is the first time the “ser-
ious” ever tried to bloom altho the
Missus has owned it a quarter of a
century Its age is uncertain Some
times it is called "century plant”
ut I don't know what it is exactly
I don't think it is a cactus All I
know is it’s creating considerable
commotion around the home The
plant has two buds on it now that
house according to our night-blooming

Every one should liuve pride
