have a protracted meeting the last half
of October with Evangelist A E Free-
man of Guthrie doing the preaching
It has been tone time since this
church has had a series of meetings
but conditions are ripe for a good work
of this nature to be accomplished Dur-
ing the past year there have been six
additions to the church by baptism
besides an increase In the regular at-
tendance' Also the church has secur-
ed a meeting house of Its own and la
comfortably situated In the east part
of town Regular preaching has been
donp on first Sundays by Arthur B
Tenny of Harper and will be contin-
ued Evangelist Freeman Is an ex-
perienced man In this line of work and
has a clean record behind him He la
widely know and well respected as a
man and aa preacher wherever be has
been He is worthy of being listened
