Sayings
The session will close on the
22nd of May
I am arranging the closing ex-
ercises so that they may take as
little time as possible from the
regular school work The Eighth
Grade will give a little program
on the evening of May the 21st
and the Graduating Exercises
will be held at the South M E
church on the evening of May
the 22nd This will close the
session’s work Plans are being
made for the School Exhibit and
the work will be shown at the
City Hall during the last week of
school The Mothers’ Clubs will
give a joint reception at the City
Hall on Friday afternoon May
22nd I am very anxious that
the professional men of the city
visit the School Exhibit and see
a slight representation of what
our public schools are doing
The Commencement Sermon
will be preached on the morning
of May 17th
All pupils who have made an
average of 90 or more in any
study for the year will be ex-
cused from final examinaaien in
that 3tudy
I want to insist that the pat-
rons make a special effort to keep
their children in school until the
last day in order to close up the
year’s work and make all promo-
tions in a regular systematic
way The successful opening of
a school year depends much up-
on the closing of the previous
session This being true I am
very anxious to close our work
so that each child in the schools
will understand clearly just
where he will take up the work
next September 1 am installing
in my office at this time a system
of records in which will be kept
the exact standing of each pupil
from the time he enters Wagoner
Public Schools until he completes
the work
