are supposed to get results You cannot afford to let many of those twenty years pass without getting results If you do your life has been spent in vain It is a record
of wasted years for which there is absolutely no excuse whatever for each year brings many opportunities for bettering your financial condition through investing a part
of your earnings or savings ‘ -

heard of an dsee if any of them ever became financially independent even in part without investing in something The truth of the whole matter is that you have got to
invest in something if you ever expect to make your life worth anything and the sooner you acknowledge this fact and commence investing even if it is only a little to

There are a number of petroleum companies operating' in the
State of Oklahoma the greatest oil state in the Union officered by
exeprienced and able business men trained in the oil business with
reputations for honesty and fair dealing that cannot be questioned
that can give you a Perfect Investment An investment that will not
only guarantee safety and big returns on money invested from the -production
they have qow but offer possibilities for expansion
through the further development of their property that can acarceiy
be estimated ’ ' i'r‘
The Oil Companies of Oklahoma paid their stockholders better
than $20000000000 in dividends in 1916 It ie too early yet for
d finite figures for 1917 but-it is estimated that the dividends for
1917 will be fsr in excess of those paid in 1916 Oil investments in
the producing companies of Oklahoma ara paying better returns than
other investments When you invest why not invest in the best
As one of the producing petroleum companies of Oklahoma
guaranteeing and paying dividends and conducting one1 of the most
huge development programs in the State the Ivanhoe Petroleum
Company requests your attention when selecting your investment
for 1918 The Ivanhoe Petroleum Company is a well
established petroleum company officered by some of the
foremost oil men of the State men in whom you need have
no hesitancy in placing your entire confidence for the faithful pro
rata division made of the profits already enjoyed by this company
coupled with the masterful manner in which the development work
being done by this company has been handled fully establishes their
honesty and ability The Ivanhoe Petroleum Company is capitalized '
for $25000000 divided into 25000 shares par value $1000 each
Stock is all common non-assessable no preferred The
Capitalization is large enough to take care of the
heavy expenditures necessary in conducting oil operations now dur-
ing these times of high prices and still small enough to permit of
paying good returns on small production The lease holdings of the
Ivanhoe Petroleum Company all lay on the Central Anticline of
Oklahoma which is producing some of the very richest oils found in
the United States The Central Anticline is divided into sections by
cross foldings It s really a chain of domes Up to date cross
' foldings Nos 1 2 and 3 have been developed to some extent and
the results obtained have paid fabulous returns to investors Cross
foldings 4 and 5 have as yet had very little development work done
on them but Geological Reports show that the same wonderful
successes enjoyed in developing cross foldings 1 2 and 3 should be
enjoyed in developing cross foldings 4 and 5 Due to structural
conditions the oils found in these cross foldings vary slightly in
value The oils produced in cross folding No 1 are being marketed
at $250 per barrel cross folding No 2 $300 per barrel and cross
folding No 3 $350 per barrel Judging from results already ob-
tained in the development of this anticline the oils which should be
produced from cross foldings 4 and 5 should be of wondrous value'
The holdings of the Ivanhoe Petroleum Company lay on cross fold-
ings Nos 1 3 4 and 5 on this Anticline and are considered some of
the richest in the State

better than 20 per cent per annum on our entire capitalisation and

ing $350 per barrel Our leases No 2 3 and 4 lay right on the
structure close up to the wells that are now producing in this field
on the East North and West side respectively Lease No 2 lays
beterthan a mile closer the dome in this field than the famous pro-
ducing Whitney well in Section 18-22-3 We are drilling on this
lease now at around 1100 feet Operations on this1 cross folding
in this field up to date have resulted in production from four dis-
tirtet pay-sands at around 1200 feet 1400 feet 1600 feet and 2300
feet below the surface The production per well averages from 25
barrels to 2400 barrels of this rich $350 oil The structure through
which we have passed up to date checks closely with other wells that
are now producing and as we are well within the safety limit in the
producing zone we feel confident that we will get production from
some one of the many pay-sands that have already been found
One 100-barrel well on this lease would pay better than 46 per cent
annually on our entire capital stock

lease coupled with the guaranteed earning power provided our '
stockholders through lease No 1 have made tho securities of this

pleted at any time Indications ara that w will begin actual drill-
ing on this well within tho next two or throe weeks Geological re-
ports on this block of acreage show it to be located perfectly struc-
turally and w feel very confident of wonderful success in its de-
velopment as the Simon Oil Company in Section 13-19-8 on the
same ctost folding just to the southeast of this block kad produc-
tion which proves the presence of oil in this cross folding beyond a
doubt Tho development of this block of acreage adds another
chance for great expansion in the earning power and priae of our
securities furnishing every necessary requisite for a perfect investment

a simple mathematical problem Can you afford to leave your money in its present

rare indeed that one has the advantage of having the minimum earning power of a
security guaranteed to assist them in making a selection from the many investments -offered

$2000 per share for they are a prime favorite and are being taken very rapidly In
