A Complicated Affair
Deputy Sheriff George Whitlow
came up this morning and
brought a young fellow named
Willian Brewer who was charg-
ed with seduction
The principals in the case are
all residents of Go ltry Oklaho-
ma Mr Brewer is a contract-
or and has for the past few
weeks been boarding at a con-
fectionary in that town owned
by Oscar Ahlstedt and wife
Mr Ahlstedt has a daughter
Grace whom it seems became
became infatuated with Brewer
and her parents forbid her hav-
ing anything to do with him
and supposed their commands
would be obeyed however on
last Sunday morning the young
lady packed her clothes in Brew-
er's suit case and they left on
the early train for Enid each
going seperatly The mother
followed them to Enid and in-
duced the girl to return home
and Brewer also returned to
Goltry
Deputy Whitlow took the
young gentleman in charge last
night on complaint of the par-
ents and brought him to this
city this morning On examin-
ation County Attorney Wilder
decided that the testimony in
the case was not of sufficient
weight to warrant holding the
young man and he was released

wonderful change in my mother since
she began to use Electric Bitters"
writes Mrs W L Gilpatrick of Dan-
forth Me "Although past70 she
seems really to be growing young
again She suffered untold misery
from dyspepsia for 20 years At last
she could neither eat drink nor sleep
Doctors gave her up and all remedies
failed till Electric Bitters worked such
wonders for her health" They invig-
orate all vital organs cure Liver and

For a Weekly Concert
A proposition is on foot to make ar-
rangements to have the town band to
play a concert one night of each week
probably Wednesday in the park A
band stand will have to be built and
other preparations made before the
plan can be put in operation but as
the business men have shown the
right spirit in pushing - the affair it
will be but a short time till the plan
is in working condition
The majority of the band boys will
be only too glad to donate their serv-
ices to the cause in order to get the
needed practice
Personally we are in favor of hav-
ing these concerts at a time when all
the business houses are closed as it
is for the benefit of the working class
of the town who need the recreation
that we would like to see the proposi-
tion a winner

LOST
A Valuable Hog
One of the most valuable hogs in the
trove of a large western breeder was' lost
'hrough an attack of the dread cholera
tnd his other hogs were exposed to the
disease This breeder had read of pre-
ventives but never having occasion to use
them was not supplied and upon inquiry
could find none at the local store On
dealer send to the RoC Chemical Concern
of Chicago and procured a germicide which
effectively stayed the progress of the
disease but the risk in waiting is great
Every dealer and every farmer should
provide themselves with the RoC remedy
and the farmer should follow the direc-
tions that go with it as to the care and
reed to be used A dollar spent this way
may save a thousand Keep it in your
barn at all times Ask'
